Dan Graham: Beyond with the BodyCartography Project: Past Future Split Attention
The poster was something I designed as a friend of Olive and Otto. Because the work was performed in/on the lagoon, I wanted to use one of the concrete letterforms from the Wellington Writers Walk (which is part of the area) to make this work. We decided to print the poster on Kraft paper.

2003 / Poster for Lagoon, performed by the BodyCartography Project in Wellington, New Zealand. Founded in 1998, the BodyCartography Project is co-directed by dance and video artists Olive Bieringa and Otto Ramstad. Their work investigates the physical resonance of space in urban, wild, domestic and social landscapes through dance, video and installation work. They engage and provoke audiences in diverse contexts working with independent artists, communities, organizations and scientists, and their work has been presented in Minneapolis, San Francisco, NYC, Canada, New Zealand, Japan, Europe, Russia and South America. Lagoon was first performed in 2002.
