forms the poster front. When viewed at a distance the brand looms
up and is very clear, while the closer you get, the www.wonder-land.co.nz
loses clarity, and instead the essay becomes the focus. |

| 2006
/ This
poster came out of a fanciful idea to produce an artists’ catalogue,
to accompany and promote the work of nine New Zealand photo artists
who exhibited in Rome at Fotografia Festival Internazionale di
Roma during April / May 2007. As the project progressed, and budgets
were figured out, it seemed excessive to produce a catalogue,
when really what was needed was a something modest – and
a website. So I took the name Wonder-Land and focused on creating www.wonder-land.co.nz
as the brand, which points directly to the website, New Zealand,
and to the touring nature of the show. |
