/ ... Making
an effective poster with so much content is more than a small challenge
– nine photographs, nine bios and texts, nine lists of works, plus
the brand, the venue... and then a 2000 word essay. Once I decided the
essay and brand would become the attention-grabbing side of the poster,
and the photo artists would feature on the reverse, I was able to relax
and turn this side into a close-up experience for content and detail. I
wanted to create a sense of movement within a fairly formal framework to
represent the wide-ranging personalities of the photo-artists, and the
touring nature of the exhibition. |
