Club de Conversation Dial rugs 2011

Group exhibition, Maquettes for the Floor, by Dilana Rugs

The dial rugs are maquettes for a larger-scale series, soon to be made by Dilana: la Plomberie, le Piano, and l'Inconnu. The series is from Club de Conversation, phone numbers collected over ten years from the streets of Paris.

Dilana invited artists to participate in a small exhibition of maquettes using surplus yarn stores, and within a square metre. Artists include Gavin Chilcott, Bing Dawe, Catherine Griffiths, Richard Killeen, Martin Poppelwell and Eric Orr.
